Rekindling the flame:

Where does one even begin?

After what feels like an eternity, I am thrilled to say that I am making a return to the writing scene! It has been a long journey filled with ups and downs (behind the scenes that is), but I’ve finally found the courage and inspiration to embrace my love for words once again.

For many months now maybe years even, I’ve harboured a longing to write, but life has a way of pushing passions aside. Whether it was the demands of work, personal commitments, or simply feeling unprepared, I often found myself stuck in a cycle of “tomorrow” and “maybe later.” Yet, deep down, the desire to express myself through writing never faded; it lingered, waiting for the right moment to resurface.

What changed, you ask? I believe it’s a combination of introspection and a renewed appreciation for creativity. I have been blessed recently with many new beginnings and why should this passion project of mine be any different? The world around us is ever-evolving, and so too are our perspectives. I found inspiration in the stories of others—those brave enough to share their journeys, their struggles, and their triumphs. (Shoutout to you Timm!) This sparked something within me, igniting a flame that had long been dimmed.

As I began to pick up my pen (or keyboard), I felt an overwhelming sense of nostalgia. Writing has always been a refuge for me, a place where thoughts can roam free and ideas can take flight. Revisiting this space has not only rekindled my passion but has also reminded me of the joy that comes with crafting stories, whether they’re deeply personal or completely fictional.

I’m excited to share that this time around, I’m approaching writing with a fresh perspective. I’m embracing the process, imperfections and all. I’ve learned that it’s okay to not always feel ready—what matters is the act of showing up and putting pen to paper (Well so to speak). I hope to inspire you to reconnect with your own passions, whatever they may be. If there’s something you’ve been wanting to pursue, remember: it’s never too late to start.
